Songs for change give us a voice for our vision, be it collective or personal.  They inspire us to engage, imagine, think and feel in a way that has us questioning and recreating our world, our lives. They are a vibrational meeting ground for like minds, neutral to external differences, while bringing us together through our universal desires.  Songs transcend all boundaries. Songs breathe life into an new idea. Songs remind us we are not alone with the power to bring us to a place that doesn’t yet exist. They are our life stories put to music, building bridges, seeding change, opening our hearts to imagining the new.

Back Home.  A song about self love and acceptance and finding belonging.

The popular song 'Hear our Minds" had its humble beginnings in a classroom in 2011. During a Heart Song workshop, 30 Grade 7 learners contributed to the song by sharing beliefs, thoughts, desires and fears around the theme of youth have a voice and being heard in today's world. In the following years, the song has been performed by top South African artists such as Zolani Mahola of Freshlyground, Vicky Sampson and Katlego Maboe at various public concerts and events. An orchestral score was written for the song and performed twice by the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra. We are very proud of our song.
