Sing the Change is a platform that offers empowering and entertaining experiences through the power of music; the universal language that connects and uplifts people by bringing them together on common ground.

We use the transformative skills of songwriting, singing, and mindfulness to help people find their voice and share their stories for the greater good offering leadership workshops, performance opportunities, and team-building events. 

We understand how the feeling of being voiceless in today's difficult world can create a sense of disconnection and low self-esteem. It stifles learning and productivity. Sing the Change taps into people's diversity and sees it as an asset to enrich the whole.   Music helps create feelings of connection and a sense of belonging and purpose.  When people feel they belong, they can more freely express themselves authentically and confidently. They become willing participants. The creative process allows everyone a chance to express themselves while stepping out of their comfort zone, to learn something new about themselves and their group. People leave the experience feeling invigorated and inspired.

Sing the Change works with different groups in the following way. We also bring these groups together to collaborate for the greater good. 

YOUTH/ SCHOOLS

Heartsong workshop:  Laura takes a group of learners through the songwriting process. The learners choose a theme that deals with a particular topic or issue that interests them. Learners find their voice and share their vision. A song with a message is written that can be recorded and filmed as a music video. At the same time, learners are presented with important leadership and team-strengthening skills. Please ask for our Heart Song Brochure for more information. 

Choirs:  Building school choirs and offering them performance opportunities for worthy causes and events. 

NGOs: We offer NGOs the opportunity to have a song written about their cause that includes the people which they are helping. Often, work with youth and Sing the Change to help write a song that represents your cause and at the same time create a marketing tool for your social media in the form of a music video. 

BUSINESSES:  Teamsong is team building through Songwriting Singing and Recording. A fun experience that is custom-made to suit your business needs and its employees. We can help you to write a song for your company or product.   

EVENT ORGANISERS:  Our Sing the Change choirs have their own theme song, Hear our Mind-Feel our Heart, and celebrate the importance of youth having a voice in today's world. If you are looking for a choir for your event please contact us.
